The Gibson Branch Library is located at 6363 South Bayou Black Drive in Gibson, Louisiana. It is 9 miles north of Houma, Louisiana off Highway 90 next to the Gibson Elementary School.

Children: popular fiction titles and a large picture book collection as well as subject material to support students’ homework needs.

Young Adult: fiction, nonfiction, and DVDs.

Adult: popular fiction, periodicals and newspapers, large print materials, and DVDs.

This library offers computers with Internet access, the library catalog, and various on-line reference resources. The library computer has Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Excel.

On-line access is on a first come basis and is limited to 60 minutes per day. Printing cost is $.10 per page.

A photocopy machine makes black and white copies for $.10 per page. A fax machine is available at a cost of $1.00 per page.
